India an Achievement made me curious enough to read the entire article and see which of his work makes India an achievement for him. The article was on the last press conference of Bush's as President of US. I was taken aback by surprise about his comments about India.
He says," You go to Africa, you ask africans about America's generosity and compassion; go to India, and ask about, you know, America's - their view of America. Go to China and ask,". This was his response to comment on incoming Obama administration's talk about restoring America's tarnished image in the world.
I couldn't understand whether there is a slight confusion that this Big old guy is carrying about the Image he has created. Entire world knows how he has impacted world economy by shattering Iraq in his egoistic chase to find WMD. The concept that he carries are based on drastic misconceptions of reality with a variance similar to the distance between India and White house.
My colleague, after reading the same article, said that probably Mr.Bush couldnt understand what the shoes thrown on him meant. Though not similar message will go from a normal Indian but not much better He should expect.
